Kaleid Circles
Kaleid Circles are opportunities for women in the Kaleid community to See Ourselves, See Others, and See the City with greater clarity and compassion, together.
Believing that growth involves being grounded in God's love (contemplation), being aware of what's true (learning), and being active through new habits (embodiment), Kaleid Circles foster these things as we seek new vision for engaging ourselves, others, and our city.
In a Kaleid Circle, you will be with women experiencing shifts in similar directions as you. You may share passions, curiosities, or desires for impact in our city. A Kaleid Circle provides a space to the take the next step. Together, we learn and try new things, taking risks so that we may discover and create more expressions of God's Kingdom.
Circles are led by the Kaleid Team, a Kaleid woman who has completed Foundations, or a partner practitioner.

Focused Community Strategies: Open House
Join the Kaleid community from around Atlanta to learn about and participate in one of the stories God is telling in the city. We are partnering with Focused Community Strategies, a Christian Community Development organization that has partnered with under-resourced Atlanta neighborhoods for over 40 years. FCS invests deeply in one-neighborhood at a time (for the past 16 years in South Atlanta), building upon the neighborhood's strengths to create flourishing communities in our city.
Kaleid women will attend this event together, followed by a Kaleid Community debrief coffee discussion.
See Others

White Awake On-line Book Community
Begin or continue your journey in understanding white culture and identity. We'll explore the seven stages to expect on our own paths to cultural awareness. Gain new perspective on being white and become a more effective agent of reconciliation in our increasingly diverse and divided world. This 5 week on-line community gathers virtually via Zoom. It will be a safe, closed community for questions, honesty and connecting with other women on this journey.

Advent Contemplative Mornings
Wednesdays: Dec. 1, Dec. 8, Dec. 15, Dec. 22
Would you like to ground yourself in contemplative practices this season and learn more about Advent? Step away from the busy-ness of the Christmas season and enter into the Advent themes of God's hope, peace, love, and joy. We will consider these words through Visio Divina, a practice where we prayerfully invite God's presence as we consider an image.

The Lord's Prayer Contemplative
Sept. 29 - Nov. 10
Join us for a seven-week contemplative circle where we will spend time with the Lord’s Prayer, lingering over each phrase, listening for love. Come as you are! Invite a friend!

Kaleid Spring Retreat
Apr. 24 - 25, 2021
At the retreat, we will have opportunity for silence, stillness, and solitude, and we will also spend time in group sessions and contemplative exercises. This retreat will allow space for you to be with and hear from the Spirit, growing deeper into the soil of God's love as you consider new life in Christ during the season of Easter.

Lent Contemplative Mornings
Feb. 17 - Mar. 31, 2021
Lent commemorates and invites us into Jesus’ 40 days in the wilderness, and it is a time for us to engage in self-examination and reflection on our mortality, in preparation for the resurrection life of Easter. This series will provide gentle space within community to engage the Lenten season with our hearts, together.

Advent Contemplative Mornings
Dec. 2 - 23, 2020
Join us for four Wednesdays, in the morning or the evening, as we experience contemplative practices this Advent season and learn more about what Advent means.
