Lent Contemplative Circle

Moses encountered God in the wilderness and heard the voice of God speak to him, “I AM who I AM.” Each week of Lent we will focus on one of the seven great ‘I AM” statements from the Gospel of John. Lent is wilderness time, a time of slowing down to be present to God’s desire for us and our desire for God.

In this series we will engage song, confession, scripture and silent reflection.

Join us on Wednesday mornings for the seven weeks of Lent from 6:30 - 7:15 am via zoom. We would love to have you!

“Lent invites us to stop eating, so to speak, whatever protects us from having to face the desert that is inside of us. It invites us to feel our smallness, to feel our vulnerability, to feel our fears, and to open ourselves to the chaos of the desert so that we can finally give the angels a chance to feed us.” Ronald Rolheiser
